The Story Behind Scarlit

My name is Melinda Peterson, and I am founder and CEO of Scarlit Coaching Center. I have officially been working with individuals and small businesses since 2020, however the inspiration story truly started when I was three years old.

While carrying a book, I first noticed my hands and became flooded with awe. If my hands can help me carry a book, what else can this body do? Carry my stuffed animals, too? Wow! What else am I capable of within this human experience?

Over time this message was diluted through false stories about the way my body should look, that it is not to be trusted, and that parts of it are "bad." Those stories became external limits, fear, and disconnection.

Until I faced death and received a message that our wisdom is in the body. It is here to help us enjoy life, guide us, and explore this beautiful planet. And when the time comes, it'll also be incredible, but in the meantime let's dive into this human experience.

That's when I said enough. No more will fake stories guide my life. I reclaimed that awe from 3-year old me and came home to myself and my purpose(s).
