What does Scarlit Mean?
This term is most likely a new one to you. Which is one of the things I adore about intuitive health -- that it stems from the spirits of ancient centuries of knowledge, current medical research, and the sparks of emerging awareness.
Scarlit results from my personal journey of moving through challenges (loss, medical issues) while searching for one word to describe these beautiful, but not easy, things. Its origin is in Japanese Kintsugi pottery, also known as golden repair, when broken pieces of pottery are repaired with solid gold, silver, or platinum. The idea is to highlight - rather than hide from - the areas broken and mended. Our "broken pieces" are physical, emotional, and spiritual scars. And although we could not control the occurrences, we can reemerge in our stunning movement through repair.
